Climate change is a big topic for architects and builders alike.
Did you know 70% of global energy-related greenhouse gas emissions are attributed to building cities? This is despite cities only occupying 3% of the Earth’s land. But we can make a change. In 2017 alone, architects tracking building energy use reduced their predicted carbon emissions by 17.8 million metric tons of CO2 per year, according to the American Institute of Architects. So, how can the building industry continue to create sustainably and cost-effective homes and structures for everyone? VIZ works with companies that are dedicated to reducing their carbon footprint. Our clients have set the industry standards for eco-friendly and sustainable living for every project.
In the month of April, we highlighted several clients that are making great strides in combating climate change in architecture.

Our client’s Home Innovations research endlessly to ensure they eliminate barriers to innovation and make sustainability affordable for everyone. Building green starts with the right products, and Home Innovations is the right company to start that conversation, especially since 85% of homeowners would like to purchase a more sustainable, eco-friendly home.
